Phase 1: Malaysia (Sept 10–16)

• Cities: Kuala Lumpur & Malacca (Melaka)
• Highlights: Petronas Twin Towers, Batu Caves, and the historic Portuguese/Dutch architecture of Melaka.
• Pro-Tip: September in Malaysia is humid with occasional "inter-monsoon" thunderstorms. Carry a compact umbrella—they are usually short, heavy bursts!

Phase 2: Thailand (Sept 17–21)

• Cities: Bangkok & Ayutthaya
• Highlights: The Grand Palace, Reclining Buddha (Wat Pho), and a scenic Chao Phraya River cruise. Note: The "Lady Boy" show mentioned on Day 9 is likely the famous Calypso Cabaret or similar—highly professional and very entertaining.

Phase 3: Vietnam (Sept 21–28)

• Cities: Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon), Hoi An, Hanoi, & Halong Bay.
• Highlights: Japanese Covered Bridge in Hoi An, Temple of Literature in Hanoi, and an overnight cruise in Halong Bay. Visa Update: While the itinerary mentions a "$45 stamping fee on arrival," please note that Vietnam’s visa policies change frequently. As of now, most US citizens use the e-Visa portal ($25) before arrival. I recommend double-checking this in early 2026.
